Who this is for
What I help with
Trauma is a broad word, and people use it very differently. Some of what I work with would be called trauma by almost anyone. Other experiences can be harder to name — particularly when there was no single event to point to, or when part of what affected you was something you needed and did not receive.
You do not need to decide whether what happened to you — or what was missing — counts as trauma before we talk about whether I may be able to help.

Recognizing yourself
This might be for you if
- Something happened and you have never really talked about it
- You have had therapy before, it helped, but not with this
- Your reactions feel bigger than the moment, and knowing that doesn’t change them
- You grew up managing something no child should have had to manage
- You grew up without the safety, connection, or support you needed
- A sexual experience still affects you, even if you’re unsure what to call it
- You are functioning, holding it together, and it is costing more than anyone knows
You do not have to match every line. One is enough.
Areas of focus
What I work with most
Developmental and relational trauma
Not every traumatic experience can be traced to a particular event. Sometimes the effects develop over years — through what happened, what was missing, or what you learned you had to do to feel safe, connected, or accepted.
You may have grown up around instability, criticism, conflict, emotional distance, or responsibilities that were too much for a child. Sometimes these experiences become easier to recognize only later, when you begin noticing how they continue to affect your relationships, reactions, or sense of yourself.
Sexual trauma
Sexual trauma can include experiences that you clearly recognize as assault or abuse, as well as experiences that have been harder to understand or name.
You may still carry fear, shame, or self-blame, notice physical reactions, have difficulty trusting others, or question how you responded at the time. You do not need to have settled on a label for what happened in order for us to work with how it has affected you.
Scope
Who I see
I work with adults individually by telehealth, with clients located anywhere in California.
I do not currently offer couples therapy. If what you are looking for falls outside my practice or experience, I would rather say so early and help point you toward someone better suited.
Not sure whether this is the right fit?
If you have a general question about my services or whether my practice may be a good fit, you are welcome to get in touch.
